Totem malas are a non-traditional design you’ll only find on The Beaded Ewe. Each one is attuned to a specific totem animal represented in the pendant. Three large beads represent the trinity of Maiden, Mother, and Crone. Each of the twelve main sections symbolize the 12 months. Solstices and Equinoxes are marked by four contrasting stones. Thirteen moonstones correspond to the thirteen moons throughout the year.
Upcoming Totem malas will include (but definitely not limited to!):
- Russian Lynx
- Siberian Tiger
- Ruffed Grouse
- Red Tailed Hawk
- River Otter
Every item on our site and in our shop is One of a Kind (OOAK). Once it’s gone, there won’t be another exactly like it, though if you do see something you must have and want it re-created, altered (changing out stones, size, etc.), or a totally new piece designed with your own personal Totem animal just for you, contact us and we’ll talk!
