About

The Beaded Ewe is a Las Vegas based shop run by mother/daughter team of Eileen and Deb Dorchak. Eileen specializes in contemporary jewelry, and Deb does everything else (including, but not limited to, contemporary jewelry and malas, wire wrapping, beading, non-traditional malas, wet/nuno and needle felting, and Kumihimo).

Both make pieces for the sheer joy of creating.

Every item on our site and in our shop is One of a Kind (OOAK). Once it’s gone, there won’t be another exactly like it, though if you do see something you must have and want it re-created, altered (changing out stones, size, etc.), or a totally new piece designed just for you, contact us and we’ll talk!

Nothing like getting a package of pretties on a Monday morning. Starting from the eleven o'clock position: Three larimar, Tibetan turquoise, peach and blue scolecite, tube agate, labradorite (lots of flash not showing in photo), jaspilite, and in the center, two stunning opals.

This is why I rarely make the same design twice. Struggled for a week with how to secure the cab without obliterating the flow of the stone (in between curious kitten paws) and then all it took was saying the magic words, "Screw this," and one literal twist. Kinda like writing a story.

I feel that once the stone is set, the rest is easy.

We shall see.
